    1. Gates open at 11 am on March 1, 2019.
    2. Check-in: 10am- flexible; Checkout: 11am (Castle Kalwar & Harlem)
    3. All foreign nationals/NRO/NRI attendees are required to provide copies of:--- Valid passport (front & back) - Valid Visa. Please note that admission to festival premises shall not be permitted without the same.
    4. Workshops and experiences require prior registration as spots for the same are limited. Please contact reception.
    5. All guests (residents & non-resident attendees) are advised to not drink & drive at any time of day. Jaipur police has a zero tolerance policy towards drunken driving and we wouldn’t want any of you getting into trouble now, would we? :)
    6. Food & beverages from outside are strictly not allowed within premises at Locals District at all times (Castle Kalwar, Harlem & Ginza).
    7. Medical aid & emergency help is provided round the clock at Locals District. In the event of any incident to self/other attendee(s), please report to festival concierge immediately.
    8. The closest ATM is a 5 minute walk from festival grounds.
    9. Attendees are advised that all POS (point of sales) at Locals District will only accept “heartbeats” (District currency) which can be exchanged for at designated counters.
    10. Locals District box office will accept all cards, Paytm & cash.
    11. Locals District implements a zero tolerance policy against consumption and/or distribution of narcotics on the entire festival premises.
    12. Festival security is authorized to frisk and check personal belongings, confiscate and/or detain anyone found or reported in possession of, consuming/distributing; resulting in immediate removal from the festival & handing over to the authorities.
    13. Locals District 2019 is a gathering for the love of music and community building. Any attendee(s) found/reported misbehaving/ missing their presence at the festival shall be removed from the premises immediately.

  • FAQ's
    How do I reach the festival?

    You can reach the festival by car, train or hopping on a short flight. Listed below are details of the mentioned modes of transport:

    1. Car/ Carpool/ Taxi/ Rent a Car – Search for Castle Kalwar on Google maps and enjoy the journey. We strongly recommend you take the Ajmer bypass if you don’t have a planned stopover in the pink city.
    2. Flight– Take a 45 minutes flight from New Delhi to Jaipur. A quick 40 mins drive from there gets you to Castle Kalwar.
    Do you provide chartered services from Delhi to the festival?

    Unfortunately we don’t have a chartered service to the festival premises yet. Please refer to the above mentioned point for your travel arrangements.

    Is there a parking fee?

    Yes, there is a nominal parking charge.

    Are there charging points in the tents for mobiles and other electrical devices?

    All tents are equipped with extension boards (5 ampere points) for you to charge your electrical devices.

    Can I bring my own food/beverages to the festival premises?

    Outside food and alcoholic/ non-alcoholic beverages will not be permitted inside festival premises.

    Can I bring my own tent to pitch?/h5>

    Why of course! You can pitch your own tent at the allocated space for people who would prefer that. However, space is strictly subject to availability.

    Can an additional person join me in the tent or in the castle room?

    Extra beds can be arranged for both– castle rooms and tents respectively however, the extra person should hold a valid festival pass. The extra bed can be booked at the time of your ticket purchase on our website.

    Are there any movement restrictions in the festival?

    There are certain areas which are only for the crew and artists, the rest of the venue may be accessed with a valid festival band on you throughout the duration of the festival.

    What happens if I lose my wristband whilst at the event?

    We strongly advise you not to lose your wristbands, any broken/lost band(s) will be replaceable at full price.

    Are there any lockers?

    Yes, lockers will be available.

    What modes of payment are acceptable on site?

    All modes of payment are accepted on site i.e.

    Are food and beverages available on festival site?

    A wide variety of vegan, vegetarian and carnivorous friendly food along with alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages will be available at the venue and stay area. These items are chargeable over and above the festival pass.

    Can I bring my children?

    We request you not to travel with your children, they would not be permitted into the festival venue.

    When does the festival begin?

    The festival commences from Friday, 1st March 2019 at 11am until Sunday night, 3rd March 2019.

    Are food and beverages included with the pass?

    No.

    Is the ticket refundable or transferable?

    Tickets are non- refundable and non– transferable, for further details please refer to our ticket policy.

    I have bought a pass/package online, do I need a printed copy?

    Please make sure you print our email confirmation and present it to our crew at the venue.

    Is there a 1 day festival pass?

    No.

    Can I buy tickets without accommodation?

    You can buy just the festival pass and decide to stay elsewhere, but we strongly recommend you stay on site to avoid missing out on anything during the non-stop extravaganza.

  • Festival Drug Policy

    DISTRICT has an absolute zero tolerance policy towards the possession, sale, contribution, or use of any illegal or illicit drugs or substances and any such possession, sale, contribution, or use is strictly prohibited. Drug enforcement laws are as applicable on site as anywhere else in the country.

    The safety and security of our attendees, artists/performers, and personnel is our utmost priority and concern.

    It is forbidden to use, deal and/or to be in possession of drugs on both the festival grounds and camping site. If you are caught using and/or dealing drugs or if you are found in possession of drugs, the local authorities will be intimated about the same and you will be forced to leave the festival ground and/or campsite.

    Before entering the festival grounds and/or campsite you will be given the chance to dispose any drugs and illicit substances in special drug amnesty bins, to avoid any further consequences.

    Kindly cooperate with our security personnel, and adhere to the directions and instructions provided by them. In case of suspicion or actual possession of illegal or dangerous weapons, our security team is authorized to stop you.

  • Terms & Conditions
    1. Wrist bands as per your booking will be issued at the festival and which will allow you to access all stages for designated dates. Please have your wrist-band on at all times. They are washable. In case wristbands are taken off or lost, a replacement wrist-band will be issued at full value of the ticket.
    2. Rights of admission reserved, even to valid ticket holders.
    3. Tickets are non refundable and non transferable.
    4. Entry will not be permitted in the absence of a valid wristband.
    5. Artist programming and lineup is subject to change during the festival.
    6. This ticket is issued in accordance to terms and conditions, rules and regulations of the venue.
    7. Any breach of the terms and conditions or the rules and regulations or any unacceptable behaviour as a matter of fact which would likely cause damage, nuisance or injury to one self or others shall entitle the management of the event to ban you from the venue and all future events.
    8. The venue may on separate occasions conduct unannounced security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
    9. Security procedures, including frisking remains the right of the management.
    10. Readmission is only allowed if a full wristband is present.
    11. Alcohol will not be sold to minors. Guests are required to carry a valid photo ID.
    12. All minors under 18 will not be allowed to entry to the festival.
    13. Anyone arriving in their own / rented vehicle must park in the designated areas allotted for the same.
    14. We have the right to search anybody as a condition of entry to our event.
    15. No outside food or beverages is allowed in the fort or stay area and is subject to confiscation.
    16. All illegal substances and illicit articles are banned from site. Consumption and possession of narcotics is strictly prohibited and those found possessing or consuming narcotics at the event will be immediately handed over to the local authorities.
    17. No dangerous or potentially hazardous objects including but not limited to weapons, knives, guns, fireworks, laser devices, explosives, will be allowed in the venue and be removed with or without the owner from the venue.
    18. Due to unforeseen circumstances, should the event be cancelled guests will be notified via email on how to get a refund on their tickets.
    19. Anybody entering the site is liable to be spot-checked and their wristband scanned for an identity check at any point.
    20. Anybody found to be wearing a wristband that has been evidently tampered with will be refused entry.
    21. Handheld personal communications devices such as mobile devices and tablets such as iPad, notepad, kindle will be permitted unless otherwise advised. All other devices will not be allowed into the venue and can be used at the designated stay area only.
    22. No tickets for the event shall be used by any person for re-sale, advertising, promotional or commercial purposes, including but not limited to prizes, competition, contests.
    23. Anybody entering the event site is liable to be filmed or photographed and for that image or video to be used for promotional purposes at the discretion of the organizers.
    24. The sponsors/bands/organizers/management are not responsible for, including but not limited to any injury or damage that may occur during or at the Festival.
    25. This Festival uses amplified sound. Earplugs and hearing protection at live concerts to reduce the risk of hearing damage is recommended.
    26. No pets are permitted on site.
    27. Strobe lighting at this event may trigger epileptic fits. Those with a history of epilepsy or any health condition that would be of concern must take adequate precautions.
    28. No liability or claims that may arise due to the consumption or intake of any food or drink or any other consumption will be entertained by the management.
    29. You shall not use or display within the venue any sponsorship, promotional or marketing materials unless authorized.
    30. The holder of this ticket grants organizers the right to use, in perpetuity, all or any part of the recording of any video or still footage made of the holder’s appearance on any channel or magazine for broadcast in any and all media globally and for advertising, publicity and promotions relating hereto without any further approval of yours.
    31. Areas at the festival are built to capacity. Management reserves the right to hold entry to certain areas within the festival to ensure a safe festival experience.
    32. The management reserves the exclusive right without refund or other recourse, to refuse admission to anyone who is found to be in breach of these terms and conditions including, if necessary, ejecting the holder/s of the ticket from the venue after they have entered the ground.
